MySQL 4/5
MySQL 4 and 5 are powerful, scalable and easy to implement databases that are suitable alternatives to using Microsoft Access and SQL. As MySQL is a product of the open source community, it does not possess the licensing restrictions and pricing structure of other database platforms, so eWebCircle is able to offer MySQL to a wider array of customers and on a wider array of hosting plans.
In terms of managing a MySQL database, eWebCircle has advanced features built into the Control Center that mirror the tools available for Microsoft SQL. In addition, customers can download a management console like MySQL Front or a page-based manager like phpMyAdmin.
Customers have the ability to select a database built in MySQL 4, MySQL 5 or can utilize both (please be aware that additional databases do carry an additional charge). Certain plans only allow for one version. Check plan page to see if multiple versions are available.
